...I have 4 years of debate experience, placing top 5 at States and top 12 in the nation for my respective event. I have also participated in a global written format debate earning top 32 in the world. I have since coached one of the top teams in Ohio in debate. (read more)
...I try to leverage available toys and tools for learning. In my ever-expanding toolbox of resources, I use videos, online games, and can quickly create demos and interactive representations to help students "see" the math and be able to tinker with it. It's in this exploration that students will develop their own hooks for understanding. (read more)
I will be graduating from Baylor University this May with a B.S. as a Science Research Fellow and part of the Honors Program. This upcoming fall, I will be continuing my education at the McGovern Medical School in pursuit of an M.D. degree.
