...I am aware that not all students will "love" math but I hope to help them see the beauty of math and respect it's importance. I am a single mom to two boys (11 and 15). They have benefited from hearing me tutor students their entire lives. They often quote some of the corny things I use to help students understand the math. (read more)
...My groups ranged from 5 to 8 years, 10 to 13, teens to age 18, and adult classes. Each of my classes, both in the community and in the after- school programs, went to see at least one professional production of a play per year, as a group.
