...I took state certification tests and am awaiting results. I plan to attend grad school for literacy with the recent push for reading in New York State and nationally it is important to focus upon reading. From my student teaching experience, I have noticed that the problem with the reading of history and other subjects is a lack of comprehension skills in order to retain information. (read more)
