...I love music theory! I truly believe it gives the framework to better understand the music we play, especially while sightreading or working on new songs. I incorporate as much music theory as I can in private lessons; however, I also encourage an in-depth study of music theory and offer separate classes to focus on music analysis, listening, dictation and composition.
