...While at LU I was a paid student tutor for Biology and Algebra for the University. Other than teaching during sessions, I conveyed study skills I utilized to pass the courses with an A. In general, I favor tutoring that involves a great deal of verbal communication between the tutor and student, relating real life situations, and worksheets to learn, understand, and retain information.
