I was homeschooled as a child, which led me to read books. Reading those books made me a little different from other people my age, continuing through high school and college. I tried being a writer of fiction, but I decided to marry the reality of monetary needs to the fantasy of exploring ideas all day, and so then chose to return to college and become an educator.
