...I want them to notice what a cumulative and self-checking science math is. Subtraction can be checked with addition, division can be checked with multiplication, and techniques learned in fractions appear again in percent, ratios, proportion and conversion factors. I want people to know that if they can read they have the tools they need to do well in math whether they like math or not. (read more)
