...I am not a strong believer in added homework; I teach with long-term, procedural memory practices in mind. However, if I feel that my students may benefit from homework, I assign work that engages them without burdening them unnecessarily. To that end, I may also assess their progress and draft reports highlighting their improvements and my concerns. (read more)
