Are you asking how many subsets can be formed from the set of ordered pairs of the form "(age-type, gender-type)"? If so, how far have you gotten? How many elements did you determine the set to have? And so forth.

Do you mean number of elements of set A x B ?
If it's ---> your answer is 6 elements
