Quadratic equations: solve these please?

3/x - 4/x+1 = 1

x - x/x+1 = 2

(x+2/x)^2 -7(x+2/x) +12 = 0

cant do it 4 U (dont want 2 get banned!): viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6

not a quad! is this 3/x-4/(x+1)=1?

then times by x(x+1): 3(x+1)-4(x)=1x(x+1)

times it out & plug into quad formula: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/quadform.htm

not a quad: is this x-x/(x+1)=2?

then time thru by x+1: x(x+1)-x=2(x+1)

times out & solve like last prob

this is like "weird case" here: http://www.purplemath.com/modules/factquad4.htm

do X^2-7X+12=0

then do X=(x+2/x)=(whatever ans U got)

solve for x

rite back if Ur stuck

thnx
