...My approach to teaching struggling readers and writers is a very multi-sensory, systematic, sequential, hands-on one, with a proven success rate. I teach my students how to digest text blocks in order to quickly assess the key points. Repetition and use of new vocabulary words in everyday dialogue with friends and family is another way to make it stick. (read more)
...I spent the last year in Morocco speaking solely Arabic. I received a "superior" level of language according to the ACFTL and ILR governmental scale for my Oral Proficiency Exam in May, meaning I can handle most professional and casual situations in Arabic. I also speak both the Moroccan and Egyptian dialects in addition to Modern Standard Arabic. (read more)
